A joint venture begins as what was then known as the Acton Glove Company in small town Acton, Ontario
1910
Frank Geng acquires the company, renaming it Superior Glove Works.
1961
Frank Geng tries his hand at soccer ball manufacturing. That was a flop... We’ll stick to gloves thank you!
1965
Production begins in Newfoundland, where 700 square feet of the Point Leamington Town Hall is borrowed for three sewing machines.
1988
Superior Glove is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
1996
Distribution and warehouse opens in Edmonton, Alberta. Distribution and warehouse opens in Buffalo, New York
2007
Superior Glove enters European market Superior Glove named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
2012
Glove dipping capacity is doubled in Acton with the addition of new machinery and cutting edge technology. Newfoundland production capacity increases thanks to a 12,000 square foot plant expansion.
